Combatting Ageism

In The Job Market

If you’re approaching 50, you’re likely to experience ageism during your job search. So it’s worth knowing how to prevent and combat it!

Research shows that people of all ages harbor 6 stereotypes of older workers, and it’s crucial not just to be aware of these stereotypes, but to actively combat them in a job search.

This workshop will provide specifics on how to combat stereotypes while also harnessing the power of the one tool that younger job-seekers don’t have: a large network. If you’re 50+ and haven’t been being selected for interviews, or if you get interviews but not the offer, this workshop will help you turn things around.
